Amanda and Brandon’s wedding day at Whistle Bear Golf and Country Club in Cambridge, Ontario was a heartfelt, joyful celebration — and one that truly highlights why this venue is so loved by couples. As a Whistle Bear wedding photographer, this location is always a dream to photograph.
Their day began at The Walper Hotel in Kitchener, where Amanda and Brandon got ready on separate floors surrounded by family and their closest friends. Amanda’s morning was filled with emotional moments as she prepared with her parents and bridal party, while Brandon honored his family by wearing his grandfather’s cufflinks — a meaningful detail we made sure to document.
Before the ceremony, Amanda and Brandon shared a private first look at Whistle Bear Golf and Country Club. The lush grounds and quiet pockets of greenery made for an intimate moment where they could connect before the day unfolded. Their outdoor ceremony took place on the Whistle Bear property and featured a custom arch handcrafted by Amanda’s father. The ceremony was non-traditional and deeply personal, including a traditional song from Amanda’s church and a joyful confetti exit as they walked back down the aisle together. One of the most emotional moments was Amanda being escorted down the aisle by both of her parents — something she had been especially excited about.
Following the ceremony, we captured family photos near Whistle Bear’s stunning waterfall — one of the most iconic photo locations on the property. Wedding party photos took place across the golf course grounds, using the greenery and elegant landscape that make Whistle Bear Golf and Country Club weddings so timeless and refined.
The reception continued inside with a beautifully styled head table and thoughtful details throughout the space, including a custom card box and meaningful décor. Amanda and Brandon shared their first dance, parent dances, a cake cutting, and a midnight snack — celebrating well into the night with their guests.
From start to finish, Amanda and Brandon’s wedding day was full of love, intention, and genuine emotion. It was an honor to document their story at one of Ontario’s most sought-after venues.
